DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST (DS)
Teaches developmentally disabled adults in a classroom setting.
Emphasis on daily living skills and recreational activities according to their
levels of functioning.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in health-related
field.
DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST ASSISTANT (DSA)
Assists the developmentally disabled adult in a classroom
setting providing hands on assistance with all classroom and recreational
activities.
DIRECT CARE COUNSELOR (DCC)
Assists the developmentally disabled adult at their
residential site providing hands on assistance with daily living activities
such as toileting, dressing, feeding, bathing and recreation in accordance with
their level of functioning.
DRIVER
Transport developmentally disabled adults from their residence
to their day program ensuring their welfare and safety at all times.
Qualifications: Valid CDL w/ A, B or C and P
endorsement (training available).
DRIVER AIDE
Responsible for assisting the driver in the safety and care of
the developmentally disabled adults we transport.
RECREATION COUNSELOR
Plans, organizes, leads and conducts recreational activities such as games, athletics, cultural arts, community outings and social activities for the developmentally disabled at their assigned site according to their level of functioning. Provides as needed assistance with personal care routines. Qualifications: One year experience working with MR/DD population.
